*Voluntary Odd-Even Watering *

In an effort to minimze peaking (too many customers using water at the same time), it is an effective practice to have odd numbered homes water on odd numbered days and even numbered homes water on even numbered days. This effectively balances system demand when it is highest in the summer months. It is best to program your sprinker timers early in the spring and utilize this practice throughout the season.  Contrary to popular belief, lawns do not need to be watered every day.
